1) Call us at 405-840-2291 during normal business hours Monday thru Friday. You can also email the office or use our convenient contact form. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have and set up your appointment. Please be sure to include your name, address and any questions.

2) After we discuss your specific needs, a Johnson Pools team member will set up a time for our service manager to look at your pool, answer questions, finalize pricing and set a service appointment.

3) Once you have approved and signed the appropriate paperwork, we’ll schedule your service. It’s that easy!

+ WHEN SHOULD I OPEN MY POOL?

The majority of residential clients open their pools in April. If you open late or the spring is warm, you should add chlorine March and April to kill the algae.

COMMERCIAL PLANS are customized for each property.

We have two popular options to step up your account. One is for basic service plus chemicals or a flat rate that includes chemicals.

+ IS FILTER CLEANING INCLUDED IN THE POOL SERVICE PRICE?

Routine filter cleanings are included.

+ HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY FILTER BE CLEANED?

DE filter - monthly
Sand filter - weekly
Large cartridge filter - three months
Small cartridge filter - monthly

+ WHAT IS REPAIR APPROVAL?

We will ask you to set repair approval amount when you start pool service. Some customers like to be consulted on everything. However, other customers prefer to have minor repair items taken care of without them having to worry about it. A repair approval means that if something is broken and is needed for the operation of the pool, we will make the repair up to the repair approval amount you have specified. This is convenient for those that travel and may be hard to reach.

You can set the repair approval for over $100 to $500. Feel free to contact us for more information and to discuss your options.

+ DO YOU PROVIDE A WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE?

We guarantee our workmanship. If you are not satisfied we will make it right or there is no charge. The equipment we install comes with a manufactures warranty. We can handle claims for you.

+ CAN I REQUEST A SERVICE DAY?

Sometimes. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Service days are determined by when our technicians are in your area. Thursdays and Fridays are premium days so they cost a little more.

+ I HAVE A PARTY CAN I CHANGE MY SERVICE DAY?

Yes. If you have a special event, we can add an additional service day or move your normal service day. When we know you have something special coming up we take extra precautions to make sure everything is perfect.

+ WHAT TASKS DO YOU PERFORM DURING REGULAR POOL SERVICE?

• Manual vacuum
• Skim leaves
• Brush tile, walls & floor
• Clean pool sweep bag & screen
• Add water
• Clean filter or backwash
• Clean pump & skimmer baskets

WATER TESTS PERFORMED:

  • Sanitizer (Chlorine or Bromine) / pH
  • Calcium Hardness/ Total Alkalinity
  • Cyanuric Acid/ Temperature
  • Salt (if applicable) / Total Dissolved Solids

Calculate the saturation index Add chemicals to balance water Check & clean salt cell (if applicable) Check chlorinator (if applicable) Report any problems Wash decks (upon request) Leave door hanger after completing service Maintain pool service records

Out of our residential customers that close most open April. If you open late or the spring is warm you should add chlorine (March-April) under the cover to kill the algae.

+ DO I HAVE TO CLOSE MY POOL?

No. More the 80% of our pool service customers stay open year round. They enjoy looking at it even if they can not use it.

+ DO YOU SELL CHEMICALS?

Yes. We use chemicals off our trucks for our service customers. We do not store any chemicals on your property. We also sell by the bucket and deliver for non-service customers.

+ WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON MY SERVICE DAY?

We are accustom to getting wet. We work through or around most rain showers. We can usually plan ahead on weather days and still get our work done. There are a few days when the weather just won’t cooperate and we may not be able to do a full service but, we can usually get most of our tasks completed.

+ CAN YOU PREVENT MY EQUIPMENT FROM FREEZING?

+ HOW DO I KNOW IF MY POOL IS LEAKING?

The best way is with a bucket test. Short of that place a piece of tape on the tile at water level. In 24 hours the water will be lower then the tape. Approximately 1/4” of that gap is evaporation. Evaporation can vary so this is just a crude guide.

+ HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
